This line offers easy-to-wear staple items that can be mixed and matched into the wardrobe of many types of women.  As an affordable luxury eco line, Earthen offers an evolving collection of strong separates such as sexy winged deep scoop tunics, draped side v-necks, embroidered caftans, and butterfly-shaped shawls.  These one sized loose, sexy pieces fit a broad range of body types.  They are timeless and versatile - great layering pieces that can take you from day into night.  

ECO MATERIALS / RECYCLING

These super soft tees, tops, and dresses are constructed with only the highest quality eco-fabrics, such as organic cotton, bamboo, modal, hemp, and recycled blends - offering superior comfort and breathability for everyday wear.  The fabric colors exude earthy richness and the contrasted stitching provides a hand-made look.  Along with the standard collections, Earthen also creates limited edition garments by reusing leftover scrap fabrics, vintage fabrics, and artifacts discovered along the designer’s earthly explorations - such as beads, stones, feathers, and other natural objects.  All the inside labels in the tops and dresses are made from leftover fabric scraps that contrasts in color to the garment.  Earthen is committed to strict sustainable practices, allowing for nothing to go to waste and re-crafting items to create unique, one-of-a-kind designs.

DESIGNER

Rooted on the west coast, Kate Davis feels right at home with the California lifestyle. Earthen was born because of my desire to create a clothing line that is completely inspired by my passion for nature's imagery. I am constantly lured by the abstract graphic patterns , shapes, textures, and colors that are abundant in our natural environment. This magnetic energy to create Earthen has been channeled and brought together my great loves: fashion, art, photography, and nature. "I consider my garments "mobile canvases," each reflecting my deep connection to the earth and my passion for art. I created Earthen for the woman who is laid-back, seeks comfort and sexiness. Bringing nature's graphics to life on clothing should remind us of Mother Earth's wondrous details and the superior powers it possesses. Wearing Earthen is another way for people to appreciate, respect, admire, and ultimately ...live in harmony with the earth.
